More Pics

Here are a few of my favorite astrophototography pics I have taken with my computerized scope and Deep Sky Imager from my backyard in the city. The top image is a globular star cluster in the Hercules Constellation containing several hundred thousand stars, the next image down is the Sun showing a huge plasma ejection, the next images are the Dumbbell and Ring Nebulas.

Great captures, Bob! When did you take these?

These were taken between May and October of last year. For the Solar image I used a specialize Hydrogen Alpha Telescope, which has an ultra-narrowband filter which allows the viewer to view the suns chromosphere where all the magic happens such as solar flares, Prominences and more.

It's a fantastic picture about star and planet. How do you capture this picture?

I have a special deep space imager that uses hubble type technology to capture faint objects such as nebula and galaxies, just put it in your telescope and it takes and stacks images on top of each other until you get a final image.
